Fyodor Dostoevsky is equally terrible in the light of our discussion and close observation. <...> Everyone knows that Fyodor was a drinking person, moreover, very much. I do not lie, if I say directly: Fedor – a drunk! Here's how one of his publishers said about him: «He was always tipsy. I would never have seen him sober, and from him there always was a sharp smell of wine. He spoke with difficulties, staggered at walking, and his nose was forever not so much red, as slightly pink.». The conclusion we make is one: Mikhalych – a drunk, a drinker and a drunker! <...> But not only is he an alcoholic, he was also a pedophile! Dostoevsky's personal features also appear in another book, Crime and Punishment, where, according to Yuri Lotman, one of the most worthy of our literary critics, «Svidrigailov in all his duality, his dialectical nature, gives us a direct allusion to Dostoevsky himself, who forever hesitated between miraculous impulses and filthy debauchers.».
Think about the horrors that will come with our young people, if they read Dostoevsky's books full of the most abominable debauchery and filthy crimes! Some of our experts dare to show surprise at the nature of the origin of the filthy youth crimes, believing that «Russian classical literature» is the best salvation from these. These miserable and miserable people do not understand that this literature alone exacerbates everything, and that it serves as an excuse for barbarism for young criminals. The excesses in our cities will not stop until we throw out the mossy writers, Tolstoyevsky, from the walls of the schools. At the same time, it should be noted that getting rid of literary rubbish should only be an accompanying measure to more serious events. <...> But it's not enough for us Dostoevsky-pedophile, Fedor-alcoholic, so he also committed a grave crime against us all and against the Republic: he is an anti-Semite! Here is what he wrote in his «Diary of a Writer»: «I dreamed of today, how I strangled my wife... Oh, how I felt good: I hate Jews…». Or here: «The Jews become landlords, – and, everywhere, they shout and write that they are killing the soil of Russia…»; «The top of the Jews reigns more and more firmly and strives to give the world its appearance and its essence. The idea of the Jews covers the whole world. Throughout the 40-century history of the Jews, they have always been ruthless only to us... ruthlessness to everything that is not a Jew... and only a thirst to get drunk with our sweat and blood»; «The Jew is worse than a Jew!»; «Kill the Jews, burn their books and ruin their synagogues – only so you will be saved from the Jewish revolution and save the Orthodox faith!»; «The International ordered that the Jewish revolution begin in Russia. And it will begin... For we do not have a reliable rebuff for it either in governance or in society. The revolt will begin with atheism and robbery of all riches. Begins to demote religion, destroy temples and turn them into barracks, stalls; they will flood the world with blood... Jews will ruin Russia and become the head of anarchy. The Jew and his Cagal are a conspiracy against the Russians.».
After all these quotes, you still dare to ask me or show doubts about what should not be studied by our students, for it corrupts them, encourages the growth of bad trends in them, turns them into pedophiles, drunkards, murderers, anti-Semites, undermines their spirit, mind and body?! Look at the sleek faces of well-fed bourgeois «scientists» who reason with a smart air in the channels, like the despicable «Culture», about «the profound philosophical views of Dostoevsky and Tolstoy», about the «cultural code of Russia» allegedly hidden in their works, and, of course, about the «great literature that will save Russia» from «savagery, the decline of morals and nihilism.». As usual, they are vile, blurred old women, constantly yowling and shaking flabby members in front of the audience, vowing the same phrases from year to year about the «great and mighty» and «classical Russian literature that the whole world reads».Such people disgust any sane person, because they are not capable of living thought, they dare not look at the «Karamazov» and «War and Peace»,they can not take the blinders from their eyes, put there by their stupid teachers, in them reproducing themselves. Citizens are schoolchildren, it's time forus to remember ourselves that «only we are the face of our Time», that «The Horn of Time beats us in verbal art», that «The Past is Closely», and «The Academy and Pushkin are incomprehensible than hieroglyphics». It's time for us to «throw Pushkin, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy and so on» from the Modern steamed.
I appeal to your pathetic feelings, I am addressing my sermon to the most advanced part of our people, which has not yet solidified in its dead sadomasochistic love for Tolstoyevsky's vile, bloodthirsty totem demanding more and more sacrifices to himself. I hope that one day my fantasies and dreams from this work are realized right in front of the walls of our school establishment, but I still have great hopes that you, my brother-schoolboys, are realizing it. But you want to ask me about what I am ready to offer as a substitute for Tolstoyevsky, and then critics will attack me and say: this brotherhood is the lesser of evils, for there is nothing better than it is hitherto. We can answer all this: Ivan Barkov, Thaddeus Bulgarin, Pavel Melikov-Pechersky, Leonid and Daniil Andreev, Maxim Gorky, Alexander Vvedensky, Nikolai Oleinikov and many other heroes. The last of them, Nikolai Oleinikov, is simply the embodiment of an ideal person by the standards of many of our fellow citizens of some high ranks: a children's lover, a friend of Marshak, who worked in extremely progressive magazines for children's magazines «Hedgehog» and «Bird», former brave pedagogue innovator and educator without fear and reproach, who did not bow to unworthy power lovers, for which he became a victim of Stalin's repression. He wrote a wonderful children's work, which, according to Marshak, «was mostly directed against Dostoevsky», whose features «he ridiculed especially grotesquely, even too much.». This is the «too» Marshak inserted here only then, that he was afraid of the incriminality of links with the «Trotskyites», with which some progressive figures were announced, including Oleynikov. This work is called, as you all already guessed, «Beetle-anti-Semite»; Its plot is that the spiteful and vile beetle of all other insects convicts of Jewry and at the same time tirelessly grumbles, and at the end of the tale dies of grief. Theauthor adds a strong comment: «And such a fate awaits all anti-Semites!». In a word, read the correct and good progressive writers, named by me above, as well as those accompanying, and not all Tolstoyevsky there – from them only spiritual torment, absolutely superfluous for a noble person. That's it, that's all, gentlemen: it was this article that was published in the tonic journal, which caused the bubbling of a certain substance in our school community, and then some reaction, which I also have to described.
